Not all singers read their reviews, and I'm fortunate to have some lovely ones, including this, my favorite. I love the image it evokes of a bygone era: "Soprano Rebecca Carr brought the whole concert to a grand finish with one of those operatic outbursts that would have left her surrounded by flying flowers if we still lived in the days when gentlemen wore boutonnieres in their lapels."
